First is auction about to end!

5 Bitcoins currently going for 0.09: http://www.blockrun.com/auctions/5-bitcoins

We've just launched http://www.blockrun.com , a play on penny auctions built on top on the blockchain.

- Each auction has its own bid address

- Auctions last for a certain number of blocks - When blocks reach 0, each new bid extends the auction by 3 blocks

- There needs to be 3 empty blocks for a winner to be declared (no bids for 3 consecutive blocks released by the Bitcoin network)

- The highest bid wins (we send winning, and losing transactions when you have been outbid)

- Winner creates a signed message to confirm they own the winning Bitcoin address

We're always looking to improve, so if anyone has any feedback (e.g. "WTF is this, how does it work??), or thoughts are much appreciated :-)

Gotta love the fact that you download the app and can't even sign up!

Yes, I entered my email to be on the beta waitlist, but why release a mobile app that can't be used?

Then again, with Dropbox, Sugarsync & Pogoplug I probably don't need yet another cloud storage provider..

You're right, there are many alternatives but the ability of sharing for free if you use peer to peer only and the possibility of using folders with their original structure seem nice (if they work!)

SugarSync can sync any folder on your machine, preserving file structure. However, their sync to Android local storage(the main reason I signed up) is a bit buggy, so Cubby may be a decent alternative. Agreed that free P2P transfer is potentially quite interesting.

Great to see DDG gaining traction.

However, I switched my Chrome search to DDG last year and the one thing that I realised I couldn't live without was maps.

I didn't realise how often I must search for an address and to have location appear in search makes life so much easier.

If you guys integrated with Openstreetmap, I'd switch back in an instant!

I'm a heavy Google Maps user as well.

OSM integration would be nice, but I've found that DDG still has slightly inferior results to Google.

I do like the approach to privacy and occasionaly use it :)

Nicely done.

You will also get a much better indication on the type of audience your site is attracting, enabling you to tailor content and better position your offering.

Exactly! We're monitoring which customer persona gets the most clicks (with good old Google Analytics). Down the line we might even try 8-10 different customer types with A/B testing and see which ones attract the most clicks.

Yeah, and if there is one particular segment that you want to click, but aren't clicking; you can experiment with the phrasing, accentuate the button, or write content aimed at that particular audience.

We believe that carbon data should be freely available. We have opened up our large database, so all the sources and formulas are available via our browser.

Our API allows developers to leverage our datasets without worrying about complex CO2 calculations. Access is available on request.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated ;-)
