People are throwing the word fine around, what there needs to be is jail time...

It blocks in video creator ads not Youtube ads

Maybe you have it the other way around? I've been using uBlock Origin on YouTube for years and never see a single dynamic ad.

I think they were talking about SponsorBlock, which was mentioned on another same-level comment. Probably just didn't realize this was a separate sub-chain (or whatever you call it) without that context.

Idk about cost, DevBootCamp was about 11k in 2014.

Only the CC credits are cheaper, yeah. But factoring in the other 2 years of undergrad and it's much more expensive than a bootcamp. Still far, far cheaper than 4+ full years of undergrad, though!

If there is an expiration in the JWT, logging off is still an issue. You can't log out until the JWT expires.

Reading about food waste has always bothered me. Growing up in a Jewish orthodox household wasting food was verboten. There is even a mitzvah (commandment) regarding wasting food and or resources[1].

I think that mindset drove me to be named the "leftovers king" by my extended family, as I repurpose leftovers into delicious meals.

There are a couple techniques that can help turn fridge leftovers into really good meals besides for soup. You can make an amazing Frittata using whatever leftover veg and protein you have.

Yup, I would say a lot of families are very conscious about not wasting food. These habits are still being passed down to future generations. But as this article points out, the biggest sources of waste are producers, distributors, and sellers. Not sure what can be done to remedy that waste.

Leftovers are awesome. I just got done recycling some leftover In 'n Out fries in an omelette this morning (and for those wondering how you can have left over fries - I intentionally bought an extra serving yesterday so I could have leftovers today)

I've been hearing about this lawsuit for years now, but I've never seen what the ruling was.

Weirdly I just opened YouTube on my phone in a browser window (something I don't do very often). And the dislike button was there.

They didn't remove the button. They removed the counter.

May I ask what computer it is?

It's an HP Chromebook 14.

It can seamlessly install and run Linux apps and compilers via virtualization (Crostini). I usually use vim, but I also have VS Code installed and it works pretty well. It won't win any CPU perf awards though: it has a dualcore Celeron.

You can only change them before a animation runs. If you are in middle of an animation hit Stop/Reset and then adjust.

I had the same issue when I read the article, I kept on getting stuck and asking myself what I was missing.
