Is <insert whatever type of language /> programming harmful?

What question is that?! If you write malware with it, yes it is! Though not for you.

They're just using a headline derived from Dijkstra's "Go To Statement Considered Harmful". As with Dijkstra it's a bit clickbaity i.e. they really mean use with care rather than harmful.

Making it a question just gives the extra benefit of making it likely to conform to Betteridge's law. So a meme win-win really.

Of course, Dijkstra wasn't really clickbaiting, as clicks hadn't been invented yet.

It also conforms to Sturgeon's Law.

"-3 points"? Damn! Did you lose your sense of humor ?

It's already named as it.

If you're really into colors, I suggest to read the xkcd: https://blog.xkcd.com/2010/05/03/color-survey-results/

Have fun!

I forgot about this, Randall Munroe sometimes does things I'd like to do. And, I also "weep for my gender".

Any suggestion are welcome ! That's actually my first JS scripts

I disagree about the git part. Or at least mine is not configured as it should. Lyx, by default at least, wrap the line to the 80-char limits which make a change (of a removed -or added- coma -or word-) several breakline due to the shift. Which makes the `git diff` almost unreadable and the change hard to find.

For a single person document git is probably overkill - but due to the fact hit is available everywhere it is an easy way to have a history of your changes.

Yes it does! And, IMO, it's dangerous ! Note that the script are hosted on GH that belongs to....... Google !

Here you can the tree of the archive: https://paste.ee/r/N3rg7

Would be so useful for no many new use-cases...

I was hoping for something more like this: https://github.com/kahun/awesome-sysadmin or community made ;) But thanks, even though I had already found the list you wrote.
