Doesn't it need to slow down

Yes, and that should also take 1 year.

If its loosing mass for propulsion, it might need to slow down a lighter ship, taking less time ?

Remember, a lighter ship can start slowing down later so it will arrive to its destination faster. This might be important if you are traveling with a flotilla of ships & decide for a little race at the end. Also helps if you have some heavy hibernation pods on board[0].

What strategy games don't involve min-maxing to play competitively?

Min-maxing is fine, but the endless balance patches force you to relearn the game every few months. So now you have to commit to a live service game full time, just to keep up.

Or you can choose to play StarCraft or chess or something where the rules are basically frozen at this point. Much better ROI on learning these kinds of games than something like Dota.

Anybody know the safety of these vs typical trucks?

Does anyone know if Defold can be used without the UI? Eg. just running it as a library or using scripting to do everything the game engine UI can do.

Purpose is just to try to get an AI to generate code with it.

In theory yes, data is just stored in json and there's a CLI utility [1] for building. It's pretty awkward though.

No, data is stored in protobuf text format (and at runtime compiled to binary protobuf files ofc).

It's obvious they can't build it for $3b, otherwise they would've created a competitor already.
