Match made in heaven, not to mention perfect timing

"Lynch faced 15 counts of fraud over the $11.1bn purchase of his company Autonomy by HP in 2011"

HP takes $8.8 billion writedown on Autonomy https://money.cnn.com/2012/11/20/technology/enterprise/hp-ea...

> The Times reports that Humane had received around 10,000 orders for the AI Pin as of early April, significantly behind the 100,000 units it was aiming to sell this year.

10K units sold for the AI Pin. And somehow THIS is worth $1BN?

Humane is absolutely no where close of being worth $1BN with sales like that. This valuation is extremely inflated and I don't care about the ex-FAANG team members.

At this point they should be acqui-hired at a 52% discount. If no acqui-hire then Humane should be worth less than $1M at most and the valuation should be written off 99% down.

I think we might have found the Theranos of AI.

Seems like an acqui-hire would be the way to save face after the face plant of all that time and money spent on a flop. But what are they offering to justify a $1B price tag?
